Overview
Our client belongs to the E-Commerce industry who are looking for a solution where there was a successful integration of cryptocurrency payments into an SFCC E-Commerce website. Moreover, they need a platform where they can easily monitor payment transactions and order management within SFCC. They mainly aimed to make the right purchases using popular cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Challenges
Our client was facing several challenges that included:
- Issue in customizing the checkout page UI to allow users to select the right cryptocurrency.
- Facing challenges in capturing and displaying the payment transaction data in the attributes section and payment details.
- The client was looking for a plugin for Cryptocurrency payment integration.
- Another circumstance was identifying and handling the failure in payments, generating order details, and ensuring the failed order for incomplete transactions.
Our Solution
Ksolves team has provided a comprehensive solution to their client that includes:
For Payment Integration,
- Created checkout session API and verification key for registered payment link.
- Create a custom object for giving customization for a client in configuration for the checkout page.
- Create Payment method and Processor within the business manager
- Customize the order details page within the Business Manager.
Custom Checkout Page:
- Create a custom object and attributes for giving customization for checkout page UI and giving customization of selection of cryptocurrency feature.
Business Manager Enhancements:
- We added a custom attribute for the cryptocurrency payment method to show details about the transaction in the payment tab within the business manager.
Failed and Incomplete Payment Handling:
- We have implemented robust mechanisms to detect failed payments, automatically generating corresponding orders with detailed information. Similar processes were established for incomplete transactions.

Users can have an option for payment using CryptoCurrency at the checkout page. Users can have this option and easily process and place orders using this method.

The Business Manager’s enhanced capabilities facilitated seamless tracking and management of orders, with detailed payment transaction data readily available in the attributes and payment details sections.

User Flow
- Users select the tab for crypto payment then he/she can see the pay with crypto button.
- The user will be redirected to the checkout page where he can select the payment method.
- When users select their preference and click the continue button, they can see payment information and the Open Wallet button. Click on Open Wallet and confirm the payment.
- After successful payment, the User will be redirected to the Order Confirmation page of the website.
