Implementation of Odoo ERP for Hotel Bookings Service
A premier Maldives-based travel agency specializing in personalized holiday experiences ranging from luxury resort stays to adventure tours required a centralized system to manage hotel bookings, automate workflows, and enhance accounting processes. The previous manual methods led to inefficiencies, errors, and delays in booking confirmations, follow-ups, and financial tracking. To overcome these challenges, the travel agency partnered with Ksolves to implement Odoo ERP.

- Centralized Booking Management: Odoo was used as a single platform to track and manage all bookings, providing a seamless experience for both internal teams and customers.
- Custom App for Booking Tracking and Notifications: We developed a custom app on top of Odoo’s default functionality to help organize every step of the booking process. Email notifications were integrated to send timely updates on booking details, confirmations, and changes.
- Automated Follow-ups: Odoo cron jobs were used to automate follow-ups for booking confirmations and service feedback collection, ensuring timely communication with customers.
- Accounting Automation: A custom model was created on top of Odoo’s accounting, purchase, and sales modules. This model automated price calculations, journal entries, and tax handling for vendor bills with different tax rates, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Manual validations were included for critical steps to ensure data accuracy.
