The client is a leading pharmaceutical and healthcare equipment trading company that imports and distributes medicines and equipment to pharmacies, distributors, and resorts. They required an integrated ERP system to manage complex inventory operations, streamline pharmacy sales linked with insurance plans, handle department-specific transactions, and implement customized payroll policies. The key challenges faced by the client are as follows:
- Managing Inventory Across Multiple Units of Measurement (UOM): This requires seamless tracking and valuation of inventory with varied UOMs for the same product across different departments.
- Streamlining Pharmacy Sales Linked with Insurance: Needed a specialized system to manage pharmacy sales transactions and insurance cost breakdowns, beyond standard POS capabilities.
- Migrating Stock Movement from Legacy Systems: Sought an integrated way to manage inventory movement across multiple departments, replacing siloed proprietary software.
- Department-Wise Order Sequencing: Required department-specific sales and purchase orders with independent sequences to ensure operational clarity.
