Project Lead – Odoo

Position Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Project Lead – Odoo to oversee the successful delivery of Odoo-based implementations and technical projects. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading development teams, strong technical proficiency within the Odoo framework, and familiarity with complementary frontend technologies such as React and Node.js. Deep functional knowledge of Odoo's Inventory, Manufacturing, and Purchase modules is essential.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Odoo developers, QA engineers, functional consultants, and technical resources

• Drive adherence to Odoo development best practices, coding standards, and project governance frameworks

• Provide overall direction to the team, ensure workload balance, and promote accountability and continuous improvement

• Serve as primary escalation point for project execution challenges

• Oversee custom module development, Odoo ORM operations, API integrations, and report customizations

• Ensure technical designs align with Odoo architecture principles and business requirements

• Conduct technical design reviews and code reviews ensuring high-quality deliverables

• Provide guidance on Odoo integrations with external systems using React, Node.js, REST APIs, and Odoo's external API frameworks

• Oversee development and maintenance of web portals, PWAs, and frontend components interacting with Odoo

• Define and validate Odoo deployment architectures including multi-instance setups and load balancing

• Oversee server deployments for Odoo (on-premise or cloud) with configuration, scaling, and performance tuning

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, staging environments, and automated testing frameworks

• Plan, coordinate, and manage project sprints using Agile methodologies

• Provide subject matter expertise for Odoo Inventory, Manufacturing, and Purchase modules
