Multi-Customer AI Observability With Traced Feedback Using Langfuse
We built one Langfuse server that traces every customer’s chatbot conversations, captures every thumbs-down, and links each one to its source trace.
central platform for every customer deployment
deployment-by-deployment log searches
linked trace behind every thumbs-down
Every customer had its own logs, and every complaint had nowhere to go
Our client operates a chatbot deployed across multiple customers. Each deployment runs independently and generates its own stream of conversations. As usage grew, the team couldn’t log, trace, or review conversation quality in one place, and had no structured way to capture when users disliked a response.
Debugging a reported issue meant tracking it down deployment by deployment, and negative feedback had no path back into the product. The client partnered with Ksolves to build one centralized system that observes every conversation and turns user dislikes into traceable, actionable feedback.
Challenge
01
No Central Conversation Logging The chatbot ran across multiple customer deployments, with no single place to log or trace conversations.>02
Fragmented Debugging Investigating a quality issue meant searching separate, deployment-specific logs instead of one unified trace history.03
No Structured Capture of User Dislikes Thumbs-down feedback had no consistent capture mechanism tied to the conversation that triggered it.04
Feedback Disconnected from Its Source Even when dissatisfaction was noted, no direct link existed between a comment and the conversation trace behind it.05
No Closed Feedback Loop Without traceable feedback, there was no structured way to feed user dislikes back into chatbot improvements.Solution
One observability layer that traces every conversation and links every dislike back to its source
Ksolves, an AI-first services company, deployed a self-hosted, customized Langfuse server as the single observability layer for every customer deployment. The governing principle was centralized traceability: log every conversation in one place, and link every piece of negative feedback to the interaction that caused it. Each fix below answers the challenge with the same number.
- 01 Self-hosted, customized Langfuse server A dedicated Langfuse instance was deployed and configured as the central observability platform for all customer deployments.
- 02 Centralized multi-customer tracing Conversation traces from every customer deployment are routed into one server, replacing deployment-by-deployment logs with one searchable history.
- 03 Thumbs-down feedback capture Structured thumbs-down capture lives inside the centralized platform and is tied to the conversation that generated it.
- 04 Feedback linked to source traces Every captured comment connects directly to its source conversation trace so that reviewers can open the exact interaction behind a dislike.
- 05 Filterable feedback by conversation and comment Feedback can be filtered by conversation and by comment, so quality reviewers can isolate specific issues and feed them into chatbot improvements.

Delivery
From every deployment to one place for review and debugging
Ksolves delivered a self-hosted, customized Langfuse server that receives conversation traces from every customer deployment. Thumbs-down feedback is captured alongside each trace and stays filterable by conversation and comment. Quality review and debugging now happen from one place instead of from per-deployment logs.
From blind spots to a traceable path from complaint to cause
Ksolves unified scattered, per-deployment logs into one self-hosted Langfuse platform, so every thumbs-down links to the conversation that caused it and engineers can trace any complaint to its root cause from a single view. Every conversation now appears in a central trace history, and every thumbs-down is stored with its comment and tied to the interaction that caused it. That gives the team a clear route from a user’s complaint to the improvement it should inform.
- From blind spots to a traceable path from complaint to cause Ksolves unified scattered, per-deployment logs into one self-hosted Langfuse platform, so every thumbs-down links to the conversation that caused it and engineers can trace any complaint to its root cause from a single view.
- 1 Single Observability Plane Replaces Scattered Logs Conversation logs used to sit in each customer deployment with no shared view. Now every conversation across every customer is traced in one Langfuse server.
- 1 Linked Trace for Every Thumbs-Down Thumbs-down feedback used to have no structured capture and no link to its conversation. Now each one is captured with a comment and linked to its source trace.
- 0 Deployment-by-Deployment Log Searches Investigating an issue used to mean searching deployment-specific logs one at a time. Now engineers trace and debug any reported issue from a single view.
- 2 Filters for Faster Quality Review Reviewers could not search or isolate specific feedback. Feedback is now filterable by conversation and by comment, so they can go straight to the issue.
