Multilingual Climate Solutions Portal Built for a Global Microfinance Network on Salesforce Experience Cloud
Client Overview

One of the world’s most recognised global microfinance platforms – connecting lenders with borrowers across approximately 150 lending partner organisations in Africa, Asia, the Americas, and the Pacific – needed to operationalise its Climate Solutions Toolkit for its entire partner network. No structured digital delivery channel existed, survey data was disconnected from resource recommendations, and no multilingual portal served the global network. Applying its AI-First approach, Ksolves built a secure, multilingual Salesforce Experience Cloud partner portal at a fixed fee of $4,250 USD, starting with a controlled 10-partner pilot and designed to scale to 150 partners globally.

Key Challenges
  • No Digital Platform for Climate Resources: Lending partners had no structured digital access to the organisation's climate finance resources. Tools, case studies, and guidance existed but were not searchable, systematically accessible, or matched to individual partner readiness levels.
  • Climate Compass Survey Data Disconnected From Salesforce: The Climate Compass self-assessment was collected via FormAssembly but not integrated into Salesforce - survey data could not inform personalised resource recommendations, track partner progress, or feed analytics without manual compilation.
  • Global Network Requiring Multilingual Support: With lending partners across Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia, the portal needed to function effectively in English, French, and Spanish - including multilingual CMS content management and fallback behaviour for incomplete translations.
  • Tableau Analytics Not Accessible Through a Portal: Tableau dashboards capturing survey scores and engagement metrics existed but were not embedded in a partner-accessible portal - partners could not view their own progress and internal teams had no structured, role-based analytics layer.
  • Pilot to Global Network Scalability: The portal needed to launch as a controlled 10-partner pilot with structured feedback and iterative refinement, while the architecture had to be designed from the outset to scale to 150 partners without rearchitecting the security model or CMS structure.
  • Strict Partner Data Isolation: With partners across different regions and funding structures, zero cross-partner data visibility was non-negotiable. No partner should see another partner's survey data, engagement records, or profile information within the shared portal environment.
Our Solution

Ksolves built a three-phase Salesforce Experience Cloud partner portal around the Climate Solutions Toolkit workflow. The governing principle was scale-readiness from day one: the data model, security model, and content governance were all designed with Phase 3 Einstein AI personalisation as a constraint, zero rearchitecting required to activate intelligent recommendations for the full 150-partner network.

  • Climate Compass Data Model and FormAssembly Integration: Custom Salesforce objects, Impact Survey, Impact Survey Response, and Resource Engagement, capture Climate Compass submissions with question-level responses and scores. FormAssembly populates Salesforce automatically in real time with no manual data transfer.
  • Curated Resource Library on Salesforce CMS: CMS-based resource library hosts climate finance case studies, tools, models, and PDFs with metadata-driven classification aligned to survey dimensions and partner maturity levels. Content authoring and publishing restricted to internal administrators.
  • Multilingual Experience Cloud Portal (EN/FR/ES): Translation Workbench and CMS language variants enable full English, French, and Spanish support with seamless language switching, fallback behaviour, and guided user journeys from survey entry through resource discovery and dashboard review.
  • Tableau Embedded Analytics With SAML SSO: Tableau View LWC with SAML-based SSO embeds dashboards directly in Experience Cloud. Partners view Climate Compass scores and resource recommendations. Internal teams monitor adoption and pilot performance with role-based row-level security.
  • Partner Data Isolation and Pilot Architecture: OWD set to Private for all custom objects, partner user profile and permission sets, and CMS content governance enforce zero cross-partner visibility. Controlled 10-partner pilot includes feedback capture, usage monitoring, and iterative refinement before Phase 3 scale-out.
  • Einstein AI Readiness: Impact Survey, Impact Survey Response, Resource Engagement, and Partner Profile object structures designed to support future Einstein AI-driven resource personalisation, recommending resources matched to partner climate maturity levels and engagement patterns without requiring data model changes in Phase 3.

Impact
  • First Structured Digital Access for 150 Partners: Experience Cloud portal gives every lending partner a secure, multilingual home for the Climate Solutions Toolkit, survey-driven resource recommendations, searchable CMS library, and progress dashboards in the partner's chosen language.
  • Climate Compass Survey Data Powers Resource Delivery: FormAssembly integration populates Impact Survey objects in real time, partner scores inform resource display logic, Tableau receives live data, and historical comparisons track climate maturity improvement over time.
  • EN/FR/ES Portal Live for Global Network: Full multilingual portal with CMS language variants and Translation Workbench - partners access the entire Toolkit in their preferred language across all pages, resource library, and survey journeys.
  • Tableau Analytics Embedded in Portal: Tableau View LWC with SAML SSO embeds dashboards in Experience Cloud, partners view Climate Compass outcomes; internal teams monitor pilot adoption, content effectiveness, and engagement KPIs.
  • Pilot Validates Architecture Before Global Scale-Out: Controlled 10-partner pilot validates portal architecture, multilingual content, and analytics before expanding to 150 partners - structured feedback and usage monitoring enable data-driven refinement.

Client Testimonial

“Our lending partners in every region need to access the Climate Solutions Toolkit in their own language, understand where they stand on climate readiness, and find the right resources for their maturity level – without our team guiding them manually. The portal Ksolves designed does exactly that, at a scale we could not have managed any other way.”

Conclusion

A global microfinance platform with no structured digital delivery channel for its Climate Solutions Toolkit, disconnected survey data, no multilingual portal, and no embedded analytics for 150 lending partners was given a production-ready partner portal through Ksolves’ Salesforce consulting services. Experience Cloud delivers the full Toolkit in English, French, and Spanish. FormAssembly connects survey data to personalised resource recommendations in real time. Tableau analytics are embedded with SAML SSO. Partner data isolation enforced at every layer. All at $4,250 USD fixed fee, with Einstein AI personalisation ready to activate in Phase 3 without rearchitecting a single object.
