A leading pan-African scientific society focused on strengthening laboratory medicine across Africa was facing operational challenges caused by fragmented stakeholder management processes and heavy reliance on spreadsheets. Donor records, funding opportunities, conference sponsorships, partner relationships, and event participation data were maintained across multiple Excel files with no centralized visibility.

 

The organization needed a modern CRM platform to improve fundraising effectiveness, strengthen stakeholder engagement, streamline conference sponsorship management, and provide leadership with actionable insights.

  • Conference Sponsorship Management: Built a sponsorship management framework within Salesforce to track sponsorship levels, commitments, invoices, payment status, communications, and event-related activities. Automated workflows streamlined sponsor engagement throughout the conference lifecycle.
  • Automated Stakeholder Engagement: Leveraged Salesforce Flow to automate donor acknowledgments, funding proposal follow-ups, sponsorship reminders, event communications, registration confirmations, and post-event surveys, reducing manual effort and improving engagement consistency.
  • Excel-to-Salesforce Data Migration: Migrated donor records, stakeholder relationships, funding opportunities, sponsorship histories, and event participation data from Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce NPSP with data cleansing, deduplication, validation, and standardization.
